We arrived Rome Tuesday this week, and are staying until Sunday. We have spent two nights at a motel called Bed and bike near Ottivano metro. It was a nice place, but it was no reception, it was a box on the door with a code and a key in. I liked the place, so if you want to live cheep in Rome I can recommend Bed and Bike.

Yesterday we first went to the Vatican state. But it was too much people, so we went out from the Vatican and walked up to the hill of Gianicolo. From there it was a fantastic view over Rome.

A bit of the view, with Castel Angelo and Basilica San Giovanni Batista die Fiorentini

From the hill and the beautiful view, we went to Trastevere. It’s a beautiful area of Rome. Old houses and a lot of beautiful flowers thriving now in May.

Here I also took some street photos.

Today we have moved from the Bed and Bike motel to Egrife Palace hotel. It’s a very big hotel, outside it is green, and the swimming pool has really good water. So today we haven’t travelled a lot. But we have relaxed in the sun and got to swim in the pool.
