Retreat for oppmerksom fotografering i Moray-distriktet i Skottland
Well, home again after a week full of inspiration, interesting people, and a landscape that I just earlier could dream of. Scotland’s coastline in the Moray district in the north is just stunning. It is fantastic, wonderful, and beautiful—the landscape with colorful acres, yellow, brown, and different variations of green.
Kim Grant is a mindful photographer teacher. She runs retreats and courses in mindful photography. I loved the way she guided us. We had some exercises in mindfulness to ground ourselves in the here and now. The photography exercises were about photographing textures, patterns, or movements. In the beginning, I had to photograph the beautiful landscape. Looking wide. I felt totally in love with it. The yellow bushes are called Gorse. Read about Gorse – the yellowest of flowers. The Gorses were everywhere. It was amazing.
All the places we were in were in the surroundings of Cullen in the Moray district. Here is a list of the locations: Crovie, Gardenstown, Cullukhyn Castle Point, Pennon, Findhorn West beach, etc.
It’s my privilege to show you a couple of pictures I photographed on this wonderful retreat.
