Utforsk Gran Canaria: En uke med sol og eventyr
This week, we have enjoyed some days with 20 degrees temperatures. The sky was blue, and the sea was inviting. We met lovely people. We also swam in both the pool and the ocean. We hiked in the mountains nearby. We spent some hours in the rainforest near Firgas in the north. We took a boat to Mogán and wandered around, looking at the beautiful flowers and buildings. We spent some money at the market in Arguineguín. We bought dresses that we may not use at home. Maybe we will surprise ourselves and use them. We hiked barefoot in the Dunas de Maspalomas. We looked at the famous lighthouse. We took a local Global bus. We ate paella. We listened to a concert in the Norwegian church. Tomorrow the holiday is over, but it has been a wonderful week. A week without rain, snow, glaciers, and shoes with pins so we don´t fall on the slippery roads. One week with sun, good experiences, exploring the Canary Ireland Grand Canaria. We want to go back because there is so much more to explore. And it is relaxing with 20 degrees Celsius instead of the raw cold weather at home. I used to love the winter earlier. I still love it. But I also love the relaxing feeling of wearing a T-shirt, sandals, and shorts.

We rent a room at Servator Hotel. A beautiful place where people visit again and again.

Beautiful sandy landscape, where you can walk everywhere. We visited the place in the middle of the day, but I guess photographically the sunset time is the best.

From our hotel we can look at the path up to the cross. It’s a hiking route from Arguineguín to the top. The path we walked was about 10 km long to and from. An amazing view at the top.
So, yes, I want to visit this place again, exploring more of the surroundings. Maybe January next year. I hope so.
