Det gjorde at jeg i dag dro opp til Skar, med fullt fotoutstyr, nistepakke, termos, stativ, og bikkja p\u00e5 slep. Det var s\u00e5 mye \u00e5 holde orden p\u00e5 at jeg gikk p\u00e5 beina opp bakkene til det flatet ut, s\u00e5 var det \u00e5 spenne p\u00e5 seg skia og gli innover mot demningen. Jeg tok av fra skisporet litt nedenfor demningen, og gikk med sn\u00f8 til kn\u00e6rne, der var et laglig grantre med grener som hang ned som kamuflasje, jeg stoppet der, og fikk se kallen med en gang. Akkurat som den satt p\u00e5 en stein midt ute i elva og bare ventet p\u00e5 meg. Den satt der akkurat lenge nok til at jeg fikk tatt noen bilder. S\u00e5 flyttet den seg. Matpakka ble spist og s\u00e5 flyttet jeg meg ogs\u00e5 litt lenger oppover mot dammen. Der hadde jeg bedre utsikt over elva. Og det varte ikke lenge f\u00f8r den var der igjen. To stykker var det som fartet frem og tilbake, lekte seg i vannet og satt og sang.
