Det var ikke planlagt \u2014 bare en av de sm\u00e5 omveiene livet byr p\u00e5 n\u00e5r man er p\u00e5 vei et annet sted.\nOg likevel ble det et \u00f8yeblikk verdt \u00e5 huske.
<\/strong><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Et lite stopp p\u00e5 Elvestad \ud83d\ude97\u2615\ufe0f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
P\u00e5 vei til hytta kj\u00f8rer vi alltid forbi et lite sted som heter Elvestad. Egentlig er det ikke mer enn et veikryss \u2013 et tidligere kommunehus som n\u00e5 rommer noe jeg ikke helt vet hva er, en l\u00e5ve, noen hus, og en bensinstasjon. Men den bensinstasjonen har f\u00e5tt nytt liv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En dag svingte vi innom, ikke for \u00e5 fylle bensin (vi kj\u00f8rer elbil), men fordi vi trengte et toalett. Og for en overraskelse det ble! Hele stasjonen var pusset opp i gammel stil \u2013 s\u00e5 gjennomf\u00f8rt og sjarmerende at vi ble st\u00e5ende og smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her lukter det vafler og kaffe. Veggene er pyntet med aviser fra 50-tallet, og toalettet har de kuleste svarte rutene b\u00e5de p\u00e5 gulvet og utenfor. Et gammelt kassaapparat pryder inngangen, og midt i det hele st\u00e5r vaffelpressa og damper som i gamle dager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
S\u00e5 om du noen gang passerer Elvestad, ta deg tid til et lite stopp. Kj\u00f8p en kaffe, en sjokolade, en p\u00f8lse \u2013 eller aller helst en nystekt vaffel. Det er virkelig verdt det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
