Yesterday, my wife and I traveled to Troms\u00f8 from Oslo to visit my daughter and her boyfriend. It’s always exciting to visit Troms\u00f8 because you never know what weather conditions you’ll experience in this rugged landscape.
The weather forecast had predicted excellent conditions for viewing the northern lights all over Norway, and they were right. Late in the evening, we drove to a mountain near Kval\u00f8ya. It was very windy. Ole Magnus, my daughter’s boyfriend, borrowed my Canon EOS 6D mark II camera and a 75-300 mm lens, as it was the only lens I had brought with me. However, I regretted not having a wide-angle lens with me. Despite the conditions, he did his best – sitting on the ground, holding the tripod to keep it from blowing away – and tried to capture some memorable moments of the beautiful northern lights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I tried to take pictures with my iPhone, but the Canon camera was the best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Standing in nature, looking up at the night sky, and seeing the northern lights dance is magical. Yesterday, the Aurora showed us beautiful colors in various shades of purple and green.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pictures were taken by Ole Magnus Karlsen and Eli Brager (I also tried a few pictures with the Canon camera, but it was so windy.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used my iPhone 13 Pro, It was very difficult to held it steady, so I tried to find things that helped me steady it, like car roofs. So this two pictures is taken by me with my iPhone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
